Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager (TAM) to influence Fortune 500 customers and drive adoption of AWS services across Compute, Storage, Database, AI/ML, Networking, Serverless and more.

You will be the customer's advocate and technical leader, shaping cloud strategies, providing guidance, and collaborating with AWS product teams to improve operational health, maturity, and risk management. Travel 10%+ as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.

Responsibilities

Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customers adoption and use of AWS services.
Represent AWS at customer meetings and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding operational excellence, cloud maturity, risk management.
Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep customers' AWS environments healthy.
Travel 10% or more as needed.
