Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager (TAM) to influence the largest enterprises to gain value from AWS. You will lead technical cloud strategies and advocate for customers.

Based in Seattle, WA with travel up to 10%+, you will provide strategic guidance, ensure operational health, and work with senior leadership across compute, storage, database, AI/ML, and more. You will be the voice of the customer to AWS product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services; represent AWS at customer discussions with senior leadership on operational excellence, cloud maturity, support, and risk management.
• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices and proactively keep customer AWS environments healthy; develop close relationships to understand business/operational needs and challenges.
• The TAM is the centerpiece of value to our Enterprise Support customers; join us to be at the forefront of innovation.
