Job summary

EY is seeking a senior engineering lead to establish secure, observable cloud foundations for AI-enabled services. You will guide architecture decisions, review complex designs, and drive production readiness across multiple use cases in a hybrid office setup.

You will use AI-assisted tools to accelerate infrastructure work, verify results, and mentor teams while maintaining cost-aware, scalable solutions. 50% travel and hybrid office work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and extensive cloud/production experience.
• 9+ years designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, or site reliability capabilities.
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code, modern runtimes, networking, identity, and automation.
• Experience defining service objectives and using observability to improve live systems.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence architecture without formal ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build shared cloud foundations with reusable infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering and review results for reliability and cost.
• Review architectures, migrations and releases considering reliability and security.
• Define evidence for production readiness and ensure operational excellence.
• Establish service objectives, observability, and actionable alerts.
• Lead investigations of failures and guide durable fixes.
• Publish reference implementations and runbooks for reuse.
• Coach engineers and transition capabilities to ongoing owners.
