Job summary

EY is seeking a senior engineering leader to serve as the hands‑on technical authority for AI-enabled cloud services. You will build reusable infrastructure, apply AI-assisted tooling, and guide architecture, performance, resilience, and cost decisions across diverse use cases.

You will lead complex design reviews, strengthen production readiness, and set reliability practices while coaching engineers to elevate the team’s capabilities. Hybrid office model with travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, platform, or site reliability capabilities in production.
• Proven track record solving complex distributed-system problems.
• Hands-on expertise with infrastructure as code, modern runtime platforms, networking, identity, and delivery automation.
• Experience defining service objectives and using observability, capacity planning, and recovery testing.

Responsibilities

• Build shared cloud foundations with reusable infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate development while reviewing and validating results.
• Review architectures, migrations, and releases with reliability, security, and cost trade-offs.
• Define evidence and readiness criteria before launch and ensure production readiness.
• Establish service objectives, observability standards, alerts, and operational reviews.
