Job summary

EY is hiring a senior cloud infrastructure leader to drive secure, observable, and cost-aware foundations for AI-enabled services. You will steer architectures, review complex migrations, and push for production readiness while leveraging AI tools to accelerate automation and resilience across multi-use cases.

You’ll guide teams in evaluating trade-offs, defining service objectives, and improving incident readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure, or site reliability.
• Production experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, platform, or SRE capabilities.
• Proven ability to solve complex distributed-system problems and justify chosen solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with infrastructure as code, modern runtimes, networking, identity, and delivery automation.
• Experience defining service objectives and using observability, capacity planning, and recovery testing.

Responsibilities

• Build shared cloud foundations and reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development while reviewing and validating results.
• Review architectures, migrations, and releases for reliability, security, and cost trade-offs.
• Define evidence before launch and ensure production readiness.
• Establish service objectives, observability standards, and actionable alerts.
• Test workload assumptions and guide scaling and architecture decisions.
• Lead deep investigations of failures and implement durable fixes.
• Design performance tests, recovery exercises, and rollback paths.
• Publish reference implementations and runbooks for broader reuse.
• Coach engineers and transfer capabilities to ongoing owners.
