Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support Global Systems Integrator partners and shape opportunities for government customers.

You will lead technical design, architecture, and thought leadership while collaborating with a world-class sales and business development team. This role emphasizes security expertise, broad AWS platform knowledge, and mentorship within a diverse engineering community.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and assist partners in responding to RFPs.
• Develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies and security for customer applications and services.
• Share best-practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community.
