Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support Global Systems Integrator partners and shape opportunities for government customers. You will own the technical engagement, define architectures, and help partners respond to RFPs while developing deep AWS expertise.

You will be a security-focused SME, collaborating with a world-class sales and BD team, delivering designs and guidance across AWS services for defense and federal workloads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Defining implementation architectures for customer solutions.
• Assisting partners respond to RFPs and develop expertise in AWS technologies.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
