Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the US Federal Civilian Health team. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a subject‑matter expert on AWS security and cloud patterns.

You will mentor others, collaborate with sales and engineering, and help customers design scalable, secure cloud solutions across EC2, S3, RDS, SageMaker and more as part of the World Wide Public Sector practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Develop deep know-how of AWS technologies and how to build applications on the AWS platform.
• Provide thought leadership and share best practices within the AWS solution architect community.
