Job summary
Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support our Global Systems Integrator partners and shape opportunities for government customers.
You will lead technical design, architecture, and thought leadership while collaborating with a world-class sales and BD team. You will own the technical engagement for specific implementations, define architectures, help partners respond to RFPs, and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and security considerations for
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
- Experience working with end user or developer communities.
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
- Define implementation architectures and assist partners respond to RFPs.
- Develop a deep expertise in the AWS technologies and broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
