Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to help accelerate our public sector initiatives and shape cloud strategy for customers. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and build deep expertise across AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Bedrock, SageMaker, and CloudFront.

Your role emphasizes security as it relates to customer applications, leadership in design discussions, and mentoring peers while collaborating with the sales and solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development, cloud computing, or related fields.
• 3+ years in design/implementation/consulting for applications and infrastructure.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Lead knowledge sharing and mentor peers within the AWS solution architect community.
• Engage with customers and partners to design cloud architectures and security solutions.
