Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to support US government clients through our Global Systems Integrator partners.

You will lead technical design, architecture, and thought leadership, shaping opportunities and winning strategic engagements across the AWS platform. You will own implementation engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and grow deep expertise in AWS services while educating partners and customers.

Qualifications

8+ years in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

Own the technical engagement and ensure success around specific implementation projects.
Define implementation architectures and assist partners respond to RFPs.
Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how of how apps/services are built on AWS.
Share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community.
