Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive cloud computing adoption for U.S. Federal Civilian Government research programs. You will shape strategy, own technical engagements, and define architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, HPC, and CloudFront.

Responsibilities include owning implementation projects, responding to RFPs, and ensuring security across customer applications. Up to 30% travel; U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years designing/implementing in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own technical engagements and ensure success on implementation projects.
• Define architectures, respond to RFPs, and build expertise in AWS technologies.
• Act as a security SME for customer applications and services.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to deliver cloud solutions.
