Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced hardware engineering professional with leadership across compute, storage, accelerators (GPU), and networking in data center environments. The role spans production platform health, end-to-end lifecycle support, and cross-functional collaboration to drive reliable cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, coordinating across hardware, software, and power domains, and ensuring scalable, high-performance server platforms across Meta’s data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of server hardware experience in internet operations or development/test.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience mentoring technicians and engineers and creating user documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with data-driven decision making using large telemetry datasets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and accelerator platforms in data centers and cloud environments.
• Act as the deep escalation point for cloud hardware issues, driving investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues across cloud providers and Meta fleets.
• Represent reliability expectations to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Carry findings back into Meta's platform work to accelerate diagnosis in the cloud.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support from testing through decommissioning.
• Drive complex investigations across hardware, software/firmware, networking, and power.
• Analyze health of the global server fleet to proactively mitigate impact.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release to Production, and Systems Integration for mass production.
• Identify risks early in hardware programs and contribute tests and RCA/CA.
• Issue timely alerts and fixes to operations teams and provide feedback to engineering.
• Build relationships with engineering and cross-functional teams to scale infrastructure.
