Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced hardware engineering professional to lead data center compute, storage, and GPU platforms across Meta-owned data centers and cloud capacity. You will diagnose systemic hardware issues, coordinate with hardware design, tooling, and onsite teams, and ensure platform reliability for production workloads.

The role requires a strong background in server hardware, Linux, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on scalable infrastructure and proactive problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of server hardware experience in internet operations or design/test validation.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience mentoring technicians/engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and accelerator platforms in production data centers and cloud capacity.
• Escalate and drive hardware/software investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues across cloud providers and within Meta's fleet.
• Represent reliability expectations to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support for hardware platforms in data centers.
• Drive complex technical investigations across Hardware, Software/Firmware, Networking, and Power & Cooling.
