Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join Enterprise Technology. You will mentor engineers, manage OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters on GCP/Azure, and help scale our distributed systems while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with platform, DevOps, or SRE.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Deep expertise with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infra on GCP/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Teamwork with platform engineers to deliver reliable services.
• Manage OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters on GCP/Azure with high availability and security.
• Define and monitor SLAs/SLOs and MTTR for service delivery.
• Drive IaC automation and best practices across platforms.
• Contribute to platform strategy and roadmap aligned with business needs.
• Handle incident management and post-mortem analyses.
