Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer in the United States. You will lead complex AWS infrastructure initiatives, design reusable platform capabilities, and advance Kubernetes, observability, and CI/CD across the cloud platform.

This hands-on role partners with multiple engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services, mentoring engineers and driving automation improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AWS infrastructure and platform initiatives from architecture through production.
• Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
• Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
• Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
