Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to lead AWS infrastructure initiatives from design through production. You will design secure, scalable cloud capabilities and mentor engineers while collaborating with Networking, Security, Identity, Database, and Platform teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AWS infrastructure and platform initiatives from architecture through production.
• Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
• Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
• Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
