Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in the United States is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to lead cloud initiatives from design through production, building a secure, scalable foundation powering business-critical services.

You will collaborate with Networking, Security, Identity, Database, Platform, Data, and Application Engineering teams, mentor engineers, and expand Terraform, Kubernetes, observability, and CI/CD capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AWS infrastructure and platform initiatives from architecture through production.
• Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
• Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
• Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate AI-assisted engineering capabilities where they improve automation, operational efficiency, documentation, or delivery quality.
