Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in the United States seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to lead complex AWS infrastructure initiatives from architecture through production. You’ll design reusable infrastructure and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform and collaborate across engineering teams.

You will advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, and networking, mentor engineers, and explore AI-assisted capabilities to improve automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AWS infrastructure and platform initiatives from architecture through production.
• Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
• Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
• Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate AI-assisted engineering capabilities where they improve automation, operational efficiency, documentation or delivery quality.
