Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in Madison, WI seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to lead AWS infrastructure initiatives from architecture through production. You’ll design reusable infrastructure, automate platforms, and advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, and CI/CD.

You’ll mentor engineers, partner across teams, and explore AI-enabled improvements to automation, troubleshooting, and delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead complex AWS infrastructure and platform initiatives from architecture through production.
Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services.
Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate AI-assisted engineering capabilities where they improve automation, operational efficiency, documentation, or delivery quality.
