Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Application/Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide high-level operational support for cloud systems. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and document system performance while coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in production systems, strong AWS/Azure experience, and proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field, production environments.
Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud, including services like S3, Step Functions, Batch, CloudWatch.
Strong Linux/Unix and Windows system administration skills.
Proficient scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Security and compliance experience with VA standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems.
Develop solutions for routine technical problems and document issues clearly.
