Job summary

Early Warning Services, a leader in payments protection, seeks a Sr. Director of Cloud Engineering to drive the deployment and operation of our cloud platforms. You will define roadmaps, oversee security and performance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant cloud solutions that align with business goals.

The role emphasizes strategic vision, risk management, and collaboration with security, finance, and product partners to optimize cloud expenditure and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems/computer science.
• 15+ years of experience managing complex cloud infrastructure including at least 8 years of leadership.
• Extensive experience designing and managing scalable solutions using AWS services.
• High degree of cross-functional cloud experience spanning architecture, security, implementation, DevOps and operations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision, Planning, Standards Ownership and Oversight—develop and manage cloud systems vision, architecture, standards and strategy.
• Be the voice of cloud infrastructure—provide senior stewardship and reduce technical debt.
• Lead a multi-disciplined, high-performance team to deliver departmental objectives.
• Own the outcome—plan phased evolution with milestones for platform performance, security and cost.
• Influence functional strategy—partner with other departments to define ROI and solutions.
