Job summary

Early Warning seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead the architecture, design and operation of our public cloud infrastructure in a hybrid, US-based role. You will oversee the transition of microservices to AWS and manage 24x7x365 support across systems, OS, software and firmware.

Responsibilities include guiding cloud engineering strategy, enforcing best practices, and collaborating with security, networking and software teams to deliver resilient, scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in Engineering/Architecture with 5+ years in public cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams and building public cloud infrastructure; AWS experience highly preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on engineering management experience including Agile practices and product owner/scrum master experience.
• Experience delivering secure and reliable technology deployments.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs design, development, implementation and operation of public cloud infrastructure.
• Migrates microservices from on‑premises to AWS and manages end-to-end cloud projects.
• Oversees 24x7x365 operational support of systems, servers and applications.
• Ensures cloud engineering best practices, security, compliance and audit readiness.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to translate requirements into cloud designs.
