Job summary

Early Warning in Chicago is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure leader to direct the design, migration and operation of our public cloud platforms. You will guide the transition of microservices to AWS, implement IaC, and ensure secure, scalable solutions across 24x7 operations.

You will build high‑performance teams, define KPIs, collaborate with security, network and software delivery, and oversee audits, compliance, and vendor relationships to deliver reliable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering/architecture with 5+ years in public cloud infra.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and AWS-focused cloud delivery.
• 5+ years on hands-on engineering management with Agile practices.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, security and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and engineering for transitioning to public cloud.
• Migrate microservices to AWS and manage deployments with IaC.
• Oversight of 24x7x365 operations and service reliability.
• Define KPIs, enforce best practices, and oversee audits/compliance.
• Collaborate with security, network and software delivery teams.
