The role demands executive communication, hands-on engineering oversight, and strong governance in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on AWS expertise across IAM, networking, compute, storage, database, and cost management.
• Strong cloud networking design including VPC/subnet, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN, and hybrid connectivity.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience, Terraform preferred, with modules and state management.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and container platforms at production scale.
• Cloud security and multi-account governance with least-privilege IAM and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the multi-year cloud strategy and migration roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Lead the design, build, and operation of the bank's cloud platform and CI/CD tooling.
• Own cloud security, risk, and regulatory compliance, including audit support and evidence.
• Manage cloud budget, vendor relationships, and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Recruit, develop, and retain cloud engineers and provide escalation leadership.
