Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to drive the migration of Digital Collection Services to AWS GovCloud. You will deliver hands-on administration, config, security, and operations for a large evidentiary data environment in a hybrid AWS/Azure/on-prem setup.

The role demands strong AWS skills (EC2, FSx ONTAP, IAM, networking, CloudWatch) and the ability to support cross-agency workloads remotely from anywhere in the continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years of experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS administration.
• Experience in AWS GovCloud or regulated cloud environments.
• Hands-on EC2, FSx for NetApp ONTAP, S3 storage, IAM, VPCs, CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot AWS GovCloud infrastructure.
• Manage EC2 instances, including Windows Server environments.
• Configure FSx for NetApp ONTAP storage and S3 storage.
• Maintain IAM roles, policies, and access controls.
• Manage VPCs, security groups, and network connectivity.
• Implement CloudWatch monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Support hybrid/multi-cloud workflows with Azure and on-premises.
• Develop/runbooks and technical docs for operations.
