Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to deploy and support AWS cloud environments for multiple coalition Mission Partner Network enclaves in support of the DoW community. This hands-on role focuses on automation, including writing infrastructure code, improving deployment pipelines, and helping teams operate more efficiently in the cloud.

The position works closely with engineering and security teams to deliver consistent, repeatable infrastructure and deployment patterns.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Fairfax, VA (up to 3 days in office).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Write and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Implement and support Git-based deployment workflows.
• Automate provisioning of cloud resources, including networking, compute, and storage.
• Support identity and access management, including SSO, roles, and permissions.
• Troubleshoot issues across environments and assist teams during deployments.
• Refactor and improve existing infrastructure and pipelines where needed.
• Document solutions and patterns for reuse across teams.
• Support infrastructure for data platforms, including storage, data pipelines, and integration with analytics tools.
• Help enable environments that support AI or machine learning workloads where needed.
• Other duties, as assigned.
