Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate modern cloud platforms and delivery pipelines in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical roles with hands-on DevOps/cloud experience.
• Strong expertise in IaC, CI/CD, containers, Linux, networking.
• Ability to design, build, and operate scalable cloud platforms and pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with software, security, and infra teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and modernize scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for apps, infra, and config deployments.
• Create automation scripts using Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Deploy containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes; manage cloud runners.
• Architect cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Support microservices, APIs, distributed apps, and cloud-native platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and performance management.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, network, cloud, and deployment issues.
• Improve reliability, resiliency, and operational efficiency via automation.
• Enforce secure configuration, IAM, secrets management, certs, and best practices.
• Partner with software and security to enhance workflows and deployment operability.
• Identify repetitive processes and replace with scalable automation.
• Evaluate new cloud/DevOps technologies and integration opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on implementation guidance.
