Job summary

RegEd is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to maintain and improve database systems across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will design objects, optimize SQL code, and lead incident responses while collaborating with architecture and QA teams.

The role emphasizes cloud experience (Azure) and data governance, with a focus on performance, security, and robust monitoring in a dynamic, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years database analysis, programming or similar experience.
• ~ Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent.
• ~ Extensive hands-on experience in SQL 2016 and higher.
• ~ Experience with cloud-based database systems in Azure.
• ~ Experience with SSIS or other ETL tooling.
• ~ Experience with SSRS or other managed reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain database objects across on‑premise and cloud databases.
• Optimize queries and procedures for OLTP/OLAP workloads.
• Lead investigations and resolutions of database incidents with SLA adherence.
• Build and maintain database monitoring infrastructure and alerts.
• Ensure database security, encryption, and data retention strategies.
