Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Manager, Cloud & Data Platform Engineer to lead the Retail Resource Center's Google Cloud stack, including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery. You will design and operate data pipelines, ensure data quality, and enable trusted analytics for faster decision making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, cloud, platform, or data engineering with Google Cloud and data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud services including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery, and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Google Cloud-based application and data stack: Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery; ensure reliability, security and data quality.
• Designs, builds, and maintains CI/CD pipelines for apps and data workloads (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions).
• Oversees containerization, image lifecycle management, and deployment practices.
• Designs and maintains batch and streaming data pipelines into BigQuery.
• Develops analytics data layer in BigQuery with SQL-based transformations for reporting.
• Implements data quality, governance, lineage, observability, and data freshness targets.
• Manages IAM roles, secrets, network config, and security controls; partners on audits.
• Plans capacity, autoscaling, backup, and disaster recovery for apps and data stores.
• Collaborates with engineering, security, and operations to meet requirements and resolve challenges.
• Leverages AI to accelerate development and automation across platforms and workloads.
• Develops AI agents to automate workflows and operations.
