Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Manager, Cloud & Data Platform Engineer to own the Retail Resource Center's Google Cloud stack. You will oversee Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery, build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure data quality and security.

This role emphasizes AI-assisted development and scalable data platforms. You will collaborate with analysts, product owners, and security to deliver trusted datasets and dashboards, while leading incident response and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, cloud, or data engineering with Google Cloud experience and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud services (Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery) and IAM.
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker skills.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for development/automation.
• Experience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Google Cloud app and data stack, including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery.
• Designs, builds, and maintains CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.
• Oversees containerization and image lifecycle management.
• Designs batch and streaming pipelines that feed BigQuery.
• Develops analytics data layer and SQL transformations for reporting.
• Implements data quality checks, lineage, governance, and observability.
• Collaborates with analysts and product teams to provide trusted data.
• Defines IaC with versioning and automates provisioning across environments.
• Sets monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform health.
• Leads incident response and post-incident reviews.
