CVS Health is seeking a Manager, Cloud & Data Platform Engineer to own the Retail Resource Center’s Google Cloud stack, focusing on reliable releases, data quality, security, and scalable analytics. You’ll work with Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery and push AI-enabled automation across pipelines.

Responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, batch and streaming data ingest into BigQuery, governance, and IAM/security practices.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, cloud, platform, or data engineering.
• Hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery) and data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud services, including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with AI tooling for automation.
• Experience designing and operating data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows, including orchestration, data modeling, and data quality.

• Owns the application and data stack in Google Cloud, including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery.
• Designs, builds, and maintains CI/CD pipelines for application and data workloads.
• Oversees containerization and deployment practices.
• Designs batch and streaming data pipelines that ingest data into BigQuery.
• Develops and manages the analytics data layer in BigQuery with SQL transformations.
• Implements data quality checks, schema management, lineage, and observability.
• Applies data governance and security controls, including access and retention policies.
• Partners with analysts and stakeholders to translate reporting needs into reliable datasets and dashboards.
• Defines infrastructure as code and automates provisioning across environments.
• Implements monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting for platforms and data pipelines.
