Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Manager, Cloud & Data Platform Engineer to own the Google Cloud based data and application stack for Retail Resource Center. You will supervise deployment, infrastructure, and data pipelines across Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery, ensuring reliable releases, security, and data quality.

The role emphasizes AI acceleration, release automation, and collaboration with analysts and product teams to deliver trusted datasets and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform production systems.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Scripting language (Python) and SQL skills.
• Experience building or supporting data pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to speed development.

Responsibilities

• Owns Google Cloud app/data stack: Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery.
• Designs and maintains CI/CD pipelines for apps and data workloads.
• Manages containerization and image lifecycle.
• Builds batch and streaming data pipelines into BigQuery.
• Develops analytics data layer and SQL transformations.
• Implements data quality, lineage, and observability.
