Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Manager, Cloud & Data Platform Engineer to own the Retail Resource Center's Google Cloud-based application and data stack, ensuring reliable deployments, security, data quality, and scalable analytics. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and data pipelines (BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Run, Redis) while advancing AI-enabled automation and governance across the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, cloud, platform, or data engineering with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery).
• Hands-on production experience building or supporting production data pipelines.
• Strong scripting or programming ability (Python) and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns the application and data tech stack in Google Cloud, including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery.
• Designs, builds, and maintains CI/CD pipelines for application and data workloads.
• Oversees containerization and deployment practices and lifecycle management.
• Designs and maintains batch and streaming data pipelines into BigQuery.
• Develops analytics data layer in BigQuery and data transformation scripts.
• Implements data quality checks, governance, and observability across pipelines.
• Leads incident response, on-call, and runbooks for production issues.
• Manages IAM roles, secrets, and security controls aligned with policies.
