Job summary

CalOptima Health seeks a Sr. Clinical Solutions Engineer (ITS Architect III) to lead design, development, and deployment of clinical technology solutions.

You will drive secure, scalable, cloud-native architectures in the Microsoft ecosystem, including API design, HL7 FHIR data exchange, and AI-enabled workflows. You will collaborate with providers and stakeholders, advocate best practices, and guide DevOps and automation efforts for reliable health-system tech capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field with 8+ years of professional experience in technical implementation.
• 5 years of experience with healthcare technology ecosystem.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies for application development.
• 5 years of hands-on cloud native development using Azure or similar cloud platform.
• Demonstrated DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of clinical technology solutions.
• Ensure secure, scalable, cloud-native and serverless solutions using Microsoft Azure stack.
• Develop reusable APIs and integration solutions across clinical apps and data platforms.
• Advance AI-driven engineering practices and toolchains throughout the lifecycle.
• Implement modern DevOps standards with CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment.
