Job summary

CalOptima Health Partnership is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to lead the Enterprise AI program from concept to production. You’ll configure, build, and deploy AI capabilities leveraging Microsoft tools, and ensure governance and security while collaborating with data engineering and cybersecurity teams.

The role supports full telework with CA requirements, and involves working with enterprise platforms to deliver scalable AI solutions across the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field with 5 years of professional technical experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building, deploying, or integrating AI/LLM solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Own technical build, deployment, and production reliability for AI solutions.
• Configure and extend vendor and embedded AI capabilities and develop internal solutions.
• Leverage Microsoft AI ecosystem (Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Automate) for design and deployment.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity to ensure governance and security.
• Document and hand off implementations with runbooks and integration maps.
• Lead multiple implementation workstreams and ensure timely delivery.
