Job summary

CalOptima Health seeks a Sr. Clinical Solutions Engineer to lead the design and implementation of clinical technology solutions in a cloud-first environment. You will transform clinical needs into scalable applications and guide secure development across Azure, .NET/C#, APIs, and integrations.

You will mentor teams, promote AI-driven engineering, and ensure reliable interoperability with HL7/FHIR and enterprise systems. Partial telework is approved with in-office requirements in Orange, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in technical implementation and software development.
• 5+ years in healthcare technology ecosystem and cloud-native engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of clinical technology solutions for scalable, secure healthcare operations.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs, integrations, and cloud-native components.
• Mentor team members and promote reusable engineering practices and AI-driven methods.
• Develop automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment practices.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure reliable, forward-looking clinical capabilities.
