Job summary

CalOptima in Orange, CA is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer (ITS Architect III) to lead end-to-end AI deployments within our data warehouse and analytics platforms. You will configure and extend vendor AI capabilities, build reusable components, and ensure production readiness with security and governance.

This role emphasizes hands-on development with Microsoft AI tools, collaboration with the AI Solutions Analyst and Enterprise Architecture, and delivering scalable, compliant AI solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in technical AI deployment or automation.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI/LLM solutions in production.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft AI tooling and cloud-native data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle of deployed AI solutions and monitor performance.
• Configure and extend vendor AI capabilities and internal AI components.
• Collaborate with AI Solutions Analyst and Enterprise Architecture to ensure governance and security.
• Develop reusable AI platform components, integration patterns, and standards.
• Lead proof-of-concept to production handoffs with go/no-go criteria.
