Job summary

Overture Partners is seeking a Deputy Assistant Chief Information Officer for Clinical Systems to lead clinical applications, data services, and IT operations within a complex healthcare setting. The role requires extensive healthcare IT leadership, EHR experience, and hands‑on Cerner/Oracle Health and MEDITECH expertise.

You will guide modernization, security, and reliability of clinical systems while building strong partnerships with clinical leaders, IT teams, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Healthcare IT experience spanning development, PM, operations, or related disciplines.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing technical teams.
• Extensive experience with electronic health records (EHR) implementations and support.
• Hands‑on experience with Cerner/Oracle Health and MEDITECH environments.
• Knowledge of change management and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of health information exchanges and clinical data services.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Effective communication with executives, clinicians, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical technology services across hospital and behavioral health environments.
• Ensure clinical applications are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with objectives.
• Guide technology roadmaps, modernization, and ongoing support.
• Build partnerships across business, clinical, and IT functions to improve service delivery and manage risk.
• Oversee delivery of clinical IT projects and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Manage performance of clinical application teams and staffing plans.
• Define metrics for service quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and prioritize production work.
• Evaluate regulatory changes impacting clinical systems and automation opportunities.
• Advise on automation and opportunities to strengthen clinical workflows.
