Job summary

Baystate Health seeks a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead enterprise technology across a multi-site healthcare system. You will align clinical systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital innovation with the goal of improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the SVP & CIDO, you will shape digital transformation, advise the Board on emerging tech, and ensure high-availability enterprise platforms, including Oracle Health EHR.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 15+ years of IT experience.
10+ years in IT or business leadership roles.
5–7+ years in senior leadership within a large healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Define the enterprise technology vision aligned with strategy.
Drive digital transformation with executive leadership.
Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud strategy, and system reliability.
Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and data governance.
Oversee data architecture, interoperability, and analytics.
Manage budgeting, capital planning, and ROI on tech investments.
Lead vendor management and stakeholder communication.
Build and mentor a high-performing IT organization.
