Job summary

The Panther Group in Boston, MA is seeking a Deputy Assistant Chief Information Officer (DACIO) for Clinical Solutions to provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical applications and data services across hospital and behavioral health organizations. The role oversees EHR systems (Meditech, Cerner/Oracle Health), leads IT teams, guides SDLC, and aligns technology with organizational goals.

Qualifications

5–10 years IT experience in project management, application development, IT operations, or infrastructure in healthcare IT.
3–5 years of leadership and supervisory experience managing technical teams.
Experience with Cerner/Oracle Health and Meditech Client/Server systems.
Strong knowledge of EHR systems and healthcare data integration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience with SDLC and change management.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage service delivery processes for reliable, scalable technology solutions.
Oversee IT initiatives affecting clinical operations and collaborate with security teams.
Lead all SDLC phases from requirements to conversion and testing.
Oversee clinical applications and EHRs including data services.
Coordinate with departments to align technology with business needs.
Maintain metrics, QA processes, and operational documentation.
