Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories seeks an accomplished sales professional to secure and retain business with clinical sponsors through consultative, proactive activities. You will prospect within accounts, partner across IQVIA teams for enterprise relationships, and drive demand creation with marketing to meet targets.

You will cultivate key relationships, leverage cross-sell opportunities, and coordinate with contracts to deliver compelling proposals. Travel 30-40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management is required.
• 10 years related experience, including 3 years in CRO/pharma or sales, or equivalent.
• Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Developing record of customer contacts at outsourcing/procurement and mid-management levels.
• Excellent business/industry awareness and understanding of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and expand within target accounts to secure new business.
• Partner across IQVIA organizations to build enterprise relationships and cross-sell.
• Influence demand creation and lead generation with inside sales and marketing.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and develop customer knowledge.
• Coordinate with contracts/proposals to develop tailored proposals.
• Lead sales presentations with operations and functional managers.
• Educate teams on customer culture, needs, and sales techniques.
• Record all sales activities in CRM and prepare activity reports.
