Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative to respond to complex customer inquiries, provide quotes, and process orders. You will negotiate pricing within parameters and work to maximize gross profit while fostering strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and cross-functional collaboration. You will support inventory coordination, shipping choices, and may coach junior staff as needed, ensuring service excellence and adherence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; five or more years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple channels.
• Strong negotiation and problem solving abilities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Proficient with computer systems and order entry processes.
• Demonstrated reliability, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to complex customer inquiries regarding products and quotes, and enter orders.
• Place orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or in person.
• Influence pricing within approved parameters to maximize gross profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and expedite backorders as needed.
• Source products from branch, DC, or supplier inventories.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods and handle returns when required.
• Coach and support less experienced Customer Service Representatives.
