Job summary

Ascensus, the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America, seeks a senior relationship manager. You will serve as the focal point for large advisor plan clients and their financial advisors, ensuring a successful service experience and plan retention.

You will develop relationships with C-level decision makers, coordinate with internal teams, and identify opportunities to expand services while maintaining compliance and data security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in retirement services industry or related field preferred.
• 5+ years direct client/client equivalent relationships within a financial services administrative environment.
• Certification or working towards ASPPA, CEBS, etc. preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including group presentation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential data and ensure proper handling to prevent unauthorized access and disclosure.
• Demonstrate proactive client focus and teamwork to promote retention and growth.
• Manage relationships with plan accounts and financial advisors to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to resolve issues and advocate for clients.
• Develop education and communication strategies with key decision makers for assigned accounts.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities and educate on products, processes, and services.
• Compile data and analyze client information; lead projects creating added value for relationships.
• Maintain proficiency with Ascensus' products across platforms to manage key relationships.
