Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to act as the focal point for large advisor plan clients and their financial advisors. You will oversee service experience, coordinate with sales, service and operations, and drive plan retention through consultative guidance and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in retirement services or related field preferred.
• 5+ years direct client relationships in financial services admin env.
• Certification in industry studies (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with strong team contribution.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including presentations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential data and ensure proper handling of information.
• Demonstrate proactive client focus and teamwork.
• Promote client satisfaction to drive retention and growth.
• Develop relationships with plan contacts and financial professionals.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to resolve issues.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities with plan sponsors and advisors.
• Track communications and escalations; propose solutions to improve service.
• Lead or participate in projects adding value to existing relationships.
• Travel as required to support accounts.
