Job summary

Ascensus seeks a senior relationship manager to serve as the main point of contact for large advisor plan clients and their financial professionals. You will ensure excellent service, coordinate strategies, and promote plan retention through proactive issue resolution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields, plus extensive experience in retirement services and client relationships. Travel is required as part of client coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years’ experience in retirement services industry or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience with direct client relationships in a financial services admin environment.
• Certification or working towards ASPPA/CEBS preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for existing big and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors.
• Provide consultative advice and support to ensure execution of coordinated strategies.
• Promote plan retention by ownership, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Develop relationships with C-level decision makers for education and communication strategies.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities and educate professionals about products and services.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to resolve client issues.
