Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular 1st shift teller/service associate in the United States to deliver industry-leading client service in person and by phone. You will develop and expand client relationships, offer financial solutions, and coordinate with internal partners for growth opportunities.

Some teller duties may be required. The role requires English fluency, a high school diploma, and 2 years of client sales and service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge to better serve clients by attending trainings and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation during transactions.
