Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to provide expert client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors. You will leverage your retirement plan knowledge to deliver consultative solutions and collaborate with Relationship Managers to achieve client satisfaction.

The role involves coaching others, handling complex issues, and applying industry regulations. Strong communication, project management and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years direct client experience; retirement services preferred.
• ASPPA/CEBS certification or working toward preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels within the organization and clients.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; Access and PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and sponsors.
• Coach and mentor others in retirement plan and client relations.
• Monitor and follow-up on assigned items; document and implement solutions.
• Communicate clearly about services, execution and outcomes throughout the service cycle.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals.
• Support vendor relationships and contribute to strategic plans.
