Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to provide expert service to partners and sponsors, leveraging retirement plan knowledge and Ascensus solutions. You will work with Relationship Managers to resolve complex issues, deliver value through consultative guidance, and mentor peers to meet client expectations across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years direct client experience, retirement services preferred.
• Certification or working towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.
• Experience with financial services systems and plan recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and sponsors.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor associates; resolve client issues and deliver solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals.
• Monitor and follow up on assigned items and escalated issues.
• Support vendor relationships and contribute to retention and growth.
