Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) seeks a Sr. Client Executive-Business Insurance to develop and strengthen client relationships, deliver high-quality service, and expand accounts with minimal guidance.

The role includes consulting on Business Insurance programs, advising on market trends, and promoting agency best practices. 5+ years in customer service or underwriting in commercial lines is preferred; strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree preferred.
• 5+ years in customer service, underwriting, or commercial lines insurance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance markets, binding authority, and underwriting guidelines preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility and creativity in developing insurance solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to negotiate quotations and assess client needs.
• Experience negotiating quotations with underwriters and understanding commercial laws.
• Property/Casualty license or ability to attain is required.
• Nice-to-have: CIC/CRM/AAI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships through in-person, virtual, and on-site interactions.
• Manage service levels for assigned accounts to meet revenue and retention goals.
• Lead education events to promote agency expertise.
• Assist clients with strategic planning, renewal planning, and timelines.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and drive referral business.
• Coordinate team efforts to meet client service agreements and compliance.
• Mentor and train team members and provide ongoing feedback.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations for new and existing accounts.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
